How To Use Advanced KPIs
The fields on the My Companies page that contain links are so-called "KPIs" (Key Performance Indicators). The benefits of the KPIs are many, and they can provide answers to what and when something needs to be done and provide an overview of what has been done. They can also provide support and feedback when a task is performed.
Advanced KPIs let you create your own fields on the My Companies page and data cues on the Eagle Service Agency Role Center that contains the measurements and links you define. With advanced KPIs, you can create fields and data cues that shows exactly what you want and links to the page of your choice with the filters you have specified.
Advanced KPIs consist of KPI Functions and Link Functions. A KPI Function defines how the value (in the field on the My Companies page) is filtered while a Link Function specifies a link for that KPI with (optionally) filtered data.
Note
The KPI function indicates which Table the KPI should be retrieved from, while the link function specifies which Page to open when a user selects the link (in the KPI). It is possible to add filters and advanced date filters for both KPI functions and link functions.
Two Types of Advanced KPIs
The Advanced KPIs are of two types, Client Companies and This Company and can be used in different ways. Find the Key Performance Indicators table in the User Guide to learn its capabilities and different behaviors.
Note
There are a total of 40 Advanced KPIs, 20 of each type. Choose the filter actions on the Advanced KPIs page to toggle which type is visible.
Tip
